Sugar was a Quarter Horse / Appaloosa mutt of some sort. She was about 14 and a half hands, and too lazy to be ill-tempered. We got along well. We sold her shortly after these pictures were taken, because Katy was going away to college. She may well still be in that riding stable in Vermont...
